Сцена знакомства, разговор с Хэлмером, брифинг, спуск на планету, уточнение деталей миссии (выясняется, что представляет она собой ни много ни мало саботаж планов Федерации, а точнее Дмитрия Юрьева) возражений или вопросов не вызывают, разве что глаз может зацепиться за фразу:
“Lieutenant General Helmer concluded that if contact with the system led to the destruction of the human mind, then even the U.R.T.V.s, created as the systems antithesis, might be affected. Therefore, if the U.R.T.V.s were to suffer a mental breakdown, then likely the Zohar, a source of infinite energy, would stand out of control. That would be devastating.”
Но это можно объяснить тем, что U.R.T.V. чья задача, нейтрализовать Зохар как источника энергоснабжения вражеской организации, представляют собой, коллективную систему управления им. В Pied Piper в качестве такой системы использовались люди Зохара (People of the Zohar). “Now, let us pray. People of the Zohar, the chosen ones. When your prayers reach the ear of God, the Zohar will open its inner eye. The great light shining from that eye will shoot through the vile Federation and cleanse their impure minds!” Версия датабазы третьего эпизода, что это, мол, просто рядовая религиозная церемония, опровергается самим Патриархом, предвкушающим немедленную победу над врагами. “Just a little longer. A little longer and our dearest wish will be granted… the eye of the Zohar will open, and it will illuminate the path to God. Then, the Federation’s salvators will… that man will…” (там же) Под тем человеком, конечно же, подразумевался Вильгельм.
Опускаем схватку с безумными солдатами Федерации, знакомство с Дзином Узуки, и переходим сразу к объяснялочке.
