Una noche (one late evening), cuando (when) Danya, en lugar de (instead of) estarse acostado (go to bed), miraba (watch) las estrellas, entró en (enter) silencio (quietly) en (-) la habitación (… room), se sentó (sit*/ sat) en (in) el sillón (… armchair) y preguntó (ask):
– ¿Te gustan (you like) las estrellas?
– Sí (yes), abuela (granny), realmente los amo (I really love them), me parece (it seem.. to me) que (that) hay (there be*/ am, is, are) tantos (so many) secretos (secret..) y misterios (mystery..) en (in) el cielo nocturno (… night sky).
Me gusta (I like) mirar las estrellas de noche y soñar (dream).
– ¿Con (-) qué (what) sueñas habitualmente (usually dream) (of)?
– Ni siquiera sé (I not even know) cómo (how) explicarlo (explain this), solo me siento (I just sit) y sueño con (of) nada (nothing).
Y mi (my) alma (soul) está tan complacida (be* so pleased) por (by) eso (it).
– Pero probablemente no sea (it be* probably) muy interesante (not very interesting) soñar con (of) nada. – dudóella (she doubt).
– Bueno (well), aparentemente haya querido decir otra cosa (I apparently not mean* it/ meant).
Por ejemplo (for example), estoy mirando (I look at) una estrella y pienso (think) como (what) será (it be like) si (if) lo acerco (I approach it), que (what) pasa (happen) en ella, quien (who) vive (live) allí (there).
En mi opinión (In my opinion), magos (wizard..), caballeros (knight..) y (and) princesas hermosas
