The textbook «Russian for International Communication: a textbook for English-speaking Indians with сacultural application» is part of the project «Russian as the language of international communication». The project was initiated to expand the inclusion of the Russian language in international communication. The textbook is provided for international students. The widest audience was chosen-India, the country that occupies the first place in terms of population – 1 billion 428 thousand. The conversational part of the textbook is presented in dialogic and monological formats (a large vocabulary and conversational style).The textbook has an educational cultural part: it briefly tells about the geography of Russia and the country in general, Russian scientists, Russian literature, music, painting, and of course, wonderful Russian songs. Unlike traditional methods, which focus more on English-American country studies. In the proposed textbook of the Russian language through the medium of English with a cultural application, the author’s methodology «Development of cognitive abilities in the process of learning a foreign language» was used. Immersed in such an exciting atmosphere of culture, a foreign student will understand that it is impossible not to know Russian, and it is necessary to know it well. The conversational part of the textbook in dialogues and monologues can be effectively used by Russian students.
